We are pleased to announce that the 2024 British Ports Association (BPA) Annual Conference will be hosted in the celebrated maritime city of Portsmouth, on 9 - 10 October 2024.
As one of the key events in the national maritime industry calendar, the BPA conference provides a unique opportunity for stakeholders to come together to discuss the latest policy developments, debate topical issues and shape future industry trends within the UK ports and harbours sector.
We are currently working on developing an action-packed programme of high-profile speakers, presentations and panel sessions for conference delegates to participate in. Portsmouth’s legendary harbour will also provide a fitting backdrop for social events on both evenings of the conference, including the 2024 BPA Awards.
The main conference will be held within the port’s brand new carbon-neutral showcase terminal. This will enable us to produce one of the most sustainable BPA conferences ever, underlining the crucial role that our ports are continuing to play in the UK’s journey towards net zero.
We are extremely excited about the plans for the 2024 BPA Conference and look forward to working with our partners and sponsors, exhibitors and speakers to stage an event that will put a spotlight on the very best our sector has to offer.
The event will also provide a crucial platform for a cross-section of the ports and maritime community to get together with representatives from associated industries, government, academia and the media, to build collective understanding, make connections and debate the challenges and opportunities that we are facing.
